Evaluation of Tekes Impact on Globally Competitive Business and Industry
Commissioned by the Finnish Funding Agency for Innovation (Tekes), 4FRONT together with Technopolis Group carried out an impact evaluation on the global competitiveness of Finnish business and industry. Main question was how Tekes activities succeed to improve the global competitiveness of the Finnish economy?
Tekes’ role individually and in collaboration with other Team Finland agencies to enhance Finnish competitiveness was reviewed. The impact of Tekes support for global competitiveness of Finnish enterprises in four priority areas; bioeconomy, cleantech, ICT and health was more closely assessed. An international comparative study was also included.
